Weddings and Commitment Ceremonies

Your wedding deserves to be memorable and special. That’s why I craft every wedding ceremony especially for the couple. No two weddings are the same, just as no two couples are the same.

Couples come to me for their weddings either because we know each other or because they want something different from the traditional wedding. As a result, I have officiated at religious and civil weddings, Christian and pagan weddings and Jewish and Buddhist ceremonies.

For a traditional wedding, I can compose a strictly Christian ceremony, a non-denominational ceremony or something in–between. I am aware that families play a big part in weddings, so I can also craft a ceremony that will satisfy both Christian and non–Christian families.

I specialize in mixed marriages, where the couple come from different faiths. I have conducted Buddhist and Jewish weddings and mixed ceremonies of Jewish and Christian elements. The faith path is important, but what’s more important is the relationship between the couple.

I also officiate at commitment ceremonies, where no legal marriage happens. I create these for opposite–sex couples as well as same–sex couples.

If you want more information about wedding ceremonies, either at this church or another location, please use the message box below or call the church at 423/624-2985. We are not always in the office, but we return calls promptly, so leave a message, please.

Good luck with your wedding and thanks for visiting our site.
