spring will come
with its long light
and lessons
of how we need some seasons
of darkness
in order to bloom.
it will arrive
one morning
and drench everything
anew.

A poem titled “muddied” from “made of rivers” by Emory Hall
Since the beginning of this year, each morning, I have channeled Persephone, the Greek Goddess of the Underworld. Daily, the dawn would rise, but not me until I absolutely had to. Instead, I would tunnel further in the darkness under the warmth of the soft comforter.

UUC's Annual Congregational Meeting
Sunday, April 28, 2024 @ 12:00 PM
Every year at this time, UUC holds its annual congregational meeting. It's a time for us to get together to share our accomplishments for the ending fiscal year, as well as to set the tone for the future. We hear from all of our various committees and vote on important resolutions and positions.

This meeting is held in our sanctuary (The Octagon), as well as on Zoom (https://zoom.us/j/96711901492), after Sunday service.

The meeting is open for all to attend, but voting is reserved for our members. You are welcome to peruse the agenda to see what it's all about!

Please click HERE for the agenda. If you have any questions, or would like to know more, please reach out to UUC's office (727-531-7704).
